The Middle Way Global Community

The Middle Way Global Community is the place that people across the world can join our community via online platforms. We've created an inclusive environment for anyone who loves to meditate simultaneously with others. We provide daily, weekly and monthly programs on YouTube and Zoom. And we also have the community on social media such as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. Just stay tuned for your deeper experience, timeless wisdom from Buddha’s teaching, and happiness from inner peace.

Daily Mind Shower (DMS) via YouTube Live

 

Daily Mind Shower is program designed to fit seamlessly into your daily routine, similar to the act of taking a shower. It's a simple practice that can bring a sense of calm, focus, and clarity to your day. It will also help you to cultivate focus and mental well-being.

 

Beginning on April 1st, 2020, during the COVID pandemic period, Monk Burin started the Daily Mind Shower live meditation program to encourage people to stay hopeful during that hard time. And several meditators in New York City and from around the world had positive responses to the program. DMS live streaming happens 7 days a week.

 

We can enjoy daily meditation, daily wisdom and daily sharing together. Join us and make meditation a daily habit that feels as refreshing as a shower, but for your mind.

 

This global program occurs every day.

Here's how to join the Daily Mind Shower:

1. Go to YouTube and search for "The Middle Way Institute" or go to https://www.youtube.com/@mdwwisdom

2. Subscribe to "The Middle Way Institute" to get notifications whenever we go live. This way, you'll be alerted about future Daily Mind Shower live sessions.

3. Enjoy the mind shower together with others, daily at 08.00 am New York Local Time.

Weekly The Middle Way Community (WMC) via Zoom

 

WMC is the community meeting for meditators who are interested in learning more about meditation practice and wisdom in a friendly environment. If you want deeper guidance and more discussion about mediation and wisdom talk, this is your destination. Once a week The Middle Way friends from around the world join and learn from a teaching monk and meet with each other online.

 

We have 4 Kalyanamitta (Good Friend) houses which are the 4 groups of The Middle Way Mentors who volunteer to support your practice on a weekly basis. If you are a Harry Potter fan, this may be familiar to you. We have a fun and proper way of welcoming you to the house, if you would like to be a member.

10.45 am Small Group Sharing.

 

The Program starts with meditation practice and a wisdom talk. This is followed by Q&A and then small group sharing. Each session is designed to support all in their practice of meditation and wisdom for daily living. For the newcomer, you may join the program at 09.15 am (New York Local Time) to listen to the Introduction to The Middle Way Meditation.

Monthly GEM Gathering

​

Monthly GEM Gathering (MGG) is a monthly community program to practice GEM together. GEM is short for Giving, Ethics and Meditation. This program is also on Zoom. It starts with a guided meditation. Then the teaching monk will lead all to review the 5 caring ethics. After that, all will join in offering The Middle Way Education Fund to support the sharing of The Middle Way Education to the world. The program will close with a special wisdom talk by a teaching monk.

 

Schedule on Third Saturday of each month at 9.00-10.30 pm New York Local Time.
